Do I need to pay an entry fee?
No! Fantasy Stock Picks is free to play. However there are Premium features available.
How is my portfolio score calculated?
Your score is calculated by two factors:
Gain/loss percentage per stock for the week (e.g. +1.7%)
Assigned points per stock pick (e.g. 20 pts
What type of competition style is each league?
Fantasy Stock Picks leagues are "head-to-head" competitions. Each week, you compete against a different player in the league. The top 6 teams are eligible to compete in the playoffs for the league championship.
How many weeks are in each league?
There are nine (9) matchup weeks and three (3) weeks dedicated to the league playoffs.
When can I start a league?
You can start a league every Monday. When creating a league, you will be able to select which Monday you want to start your league.
How many players can be in a league?
Minimum of 6 players. Maximum of 16 players.
Do I have to purchase any stock?
No. This is all fantasy!
What stock sectors are available? How are they assigned?
Currently, the following sectors are available:
Consumer: e.g. Target, Walmart
Energy: e.g. Exxon, Chevron
Financials: e.g. JP Morgan, Bank of America
Healthcare: e.g. CVSHealth, Johnson & Johnson
Industrials: e.g. CAT, General Electric, Honeywell
Technology: e.g. AT&T, Facebook, Apple
Utilities: e.g. Exelon, Duke Energy
When do I have to select my stock picks and assign points?
Stock picks can be made weekly starting on Sunday, up until the market opens on Monday morning at 930 ET. Points will need to be assigned during this period as well.
What happens if I don't have enough players to start my league?
If you are unable to get 6 players in your league you have the following options:
Automatic Delay: By default, any league that does not have the required number of player by the Start Date, will be delayed one week until the league reaches 6 players.
Delay start date: Go to "League Settings" and change start date.
Open League: If league is private, open league to the public.
